MELON AND SAGO DESSERT
       

      Melons are a good fruit for this refreshing light dessert.
      Mostlt Honeydew melons are used, but other types of melons
      could be substituted, except water melons.

      If you would like u can also try with mangoes too.
       

      • 3/4 cup of pearl sago
      • 6-7 cups of water
      • 1 cup sugar or rock sugar
      • 1/2 honeydew melon / cantelope or 3 mangoes
      • 1 cup coconut milk
      Soak the Sago with 2 cups of water for 30 mins, then drain.
      Boil the remaining 4-5 cups of water together with the sugar / rocks ugar.
      When the sugar has melted fully, add the sago to it. Cooking, stirring
      occasionally till the sago balls are transparent. Once the Sago is transparent,
      remove it from the fire and leave it to cool.

      Peel the Honeydew melon and discard the seeds. Cut the melon into small pieces
      and blend it with a blender to make a puree. add a little bit of water if necessary.

      Mix the Melon puree, Sago and coconut milk together. Chill the mixture and serve
      it cold. If u like u can add small cut cubes of melon when serving.
